HOUSE UPDATE

First post to hit our blog, and we thought showing you guys some progress photos of the house would be fun!

We started renovations mid September, with the expectations of moving in October 29. Yeah...pretty crazy to try to do a full remodel in less than 2 months!! Just 2 months ago, we said to each other "man babe, I cannot wait for the day we move in!" FINALLY, here we are...about a week away from move in day! Woohoo!!

We had a few set backs that delayed the schedule and added on to the budget. One being the house having to be rewired completely for the electrical to be up to code and all the plumbing had to be replaced. Ahhhh!

Aside from that, we would have to say the entire process was as smooth as it could've been. If any of you guys love HGTV, you may have already seen some home renovations gone wrong situations. We're just happy we did not deal with anything major such as foundation repairs or asbestos!

Although our move in day did get delayed about a week or two, we couldn't be happier with the work our contractor and his team did for us. Each time we step into our house, something new is happening and it just gets better and better!
